Flatten the Defence

There are 2 main factors that determine the success rate of any shot ( these are relative for different players of course)

1. Distance from the goal

2. Angle of the shot

Flattening the defence forces the defence to "retreat" closer to the goal creating higher percentage scoring shots when faced with numbers back.

Some ways you can do it....

Run players deep well ahead of the ball 

Carry hard  in numbers with 3-4 players slightly ahead of the ball

Attack in a decreasing arc perimeter, over and back , but closer and closer

Get the ball to the corners , and have threats in the centre
